Mark has been documenting cultural identities in North America since 2006. He has covered stories on Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota to Indian-American independent motel owners south of the Mason-Dixon line. His work has appeared in various publications and has been exhibited throughout the United States. In 2013, he was a 'Travel Portrait' winner in Photo District News magazine and in 2009 a 'People Portrait' finalist for the Masters Cup of Photography. He is currently documenting Slavic Americans in the anthracite coal region of Eastern Pennsylvania and the Basque culture of southern Idaho. He resides in New York City with his wife.
